77th edition of the Liberation Grand Prix

This year too, the appointment is renewed with a historic international sporting event which takes place in Rome on 25 April, the Grand Prix of Liberation, Bike4Fun 2024.

Now in its 77th edition, the mass sporting event involves hundreds of enthusiasts of all ages in a free ride and winds through the monuments of ancient Rome: Caracalla's Baths, Aurelian Walls, Pyramid of Cestius, Circus Maximus and the Colosseum. Furthermore, the race is even more exciting than in previous years because, two hours after the start of the Under 23 race, everyone is allowed to pedal in a group on the same route.

The ride, with free registration, is promoted both to underline how accessible the bicycle is to all, encouraging citizens and residents to use it daily, and to demonstrate how this event can also be a moment of solidarity, as it supports ANED Sport - Association National Hemodialysis and Transplantation and AIDO - Italian Association of Organ Donors, actively involving Roman schools to bring young people to cycle together with young people on dialysis and transplants and with their families, raising everyone's awareness of the importance of organ donation. To date, there are already 500 students from Roman institutes involved in Bike4Fun, but the number is destined to rise in the coming days.

Furthermore, from Thursday 25th to Saturday 27th April, in the traditional location in Viale delle Terme di Caracalla, the Village is open with free entry where it is possible to meet the protagonists of the five competitive races - U23, Women Elite 1.1, Juniores, Students and Beginners -, attend the gymkhana and short track trials, visit the stands and participate in the various collateral initiatives planned as a corollary to the races.
