Roma Capitale’s Car Sharing service makes it possible to use shared cars, integrated with public transport, in a simple, affordable, sustainable and cheaper way: the smaller number of cars on the road has in fact obvious positive effects on the environment, reducing polluting gas emissions, while on the savings front, all ancillary expenses, for stamp duty, insurance, fuel and maintenance, are zeroed out.
The advantages don’t end there: Roma Capitale’s Car Sharing cars can circulate on the “bus/taxi” express lanes, enter ZTL zones (with the exception of the Tridente ZTL, accessible only with Full Electric vehicles), park for free in the blue stripes and in the interchange parking lots with the Metros, and circulate even on days when cars are banned. From the beginning of April to the end of September, you can also choose the long rental formula.
To facilitate travel during the vacation period, customers with individual or family contracts can reserve any car, excluding vans, from €80.00 for a minimum of 48 hours of use and up to a maximum of 15 consecutive days. To reserve, simply send an email 7 days before departure to carsharing@romamobilita.it. In case of early return of the vehicle (more than 24 hours after the reservation request) a 50% discount is applied on the remaining reservation cost.
