The third edition of Roma Arte in Nuvola, the international fair of modern and contemporary art in Rome, will take place from November 23rd to 26th, 2023. Since 2021, it has been held at the prestigious Nuvola headquarters designed by Massimiliano Fuksas.
Promoted by C.O.R. Creare Organizzare Realizzare in collaboration with EUR Spa, and under the general management of Alessandro Nicosia and the curatorship of the art historian Adriana Polveroni, the fair has become the reference point for collecting in Central and Southern Italy, with two successful editions under its belt. Roma Arte in Nuvola offers a high-profile artistic and cultural event that encompasses all disciplines, from painting to installations, sculpture to performance, video art to digital art, and even street art, bringing together the most important and renowned Italian and international galleries, as well as presenting numerous special projects, such as exhibitions, installations, and performances.
The unique and evocative space, unparalleled in Italy, hosts modern art on the General Floor (ground floor) and contemporary art on the Forum (first level), creating a dialogue that represents an extraordinary offer of integrated proposals between the different artistic expressions. It should be noted that, in just two years, the event has seen significant growth in terms of both quality and quantity of participating national and international galleries.
Roma Arte in Nuvola is not just an art fair, but a real platform for art, thanks to a careful selection of special projects that include exhibitions, installations, and performances. The latest edition featured over 15 special projects, starting with three major exhibitions that played a leading role in the event due to their quality and originality.
To underline the international vocation of the event, each year a Guest Country is invited to present its cultural offer through a selection of artists linked to the world of modern and contemporary art. In 2021, Israel was the Guest Country, presenting the exhibition Israel Landscape, while in 2022, Ukraine was invited to present the Si Vis Pacem project, with the strong desire to express a clear position in favor of the values of exchange, inclusion, and peaceful coexistence between peoples.
This third edition aims to take further steps forward, consolidating the fair's role on the national and international scene, with the participation of increasingly important galleries and with a program of initiatives aimed at increasing the participation of professionals and art enthusiasts, as well as the general public.
