Sincronie Quartet in concert

The Sincronie Quartet dedicates a concert to Gian Francesco Malipiero (1882-1973), one of the most important composers of the 20th century, for the fifty years since his death.

Two of his eight string quartets are performed for the occasion - the Quartet n.3 Cantari alla Madrigalesca from 1931 and the Quartet n.6 Arca di Noè from 1947 - considered among the most significant pages of his vast musical production, characterized by extreme formal freedom.

The Quartet, founded in 2011, was formed and perfected at the Fiesole Music School under the guidance of M° M. Da Silva and M° A. Nannoni, at the “W. Stauffer” in Cremona. He took part in the Académie International de Musique M. Ravel (France 2015), in the International Summer Academy (Austria 2016) and in the Savonlinna Music Academy (Finland 2017); he also participated in the artistic residency program for young string quartets the Casa del Quartetto, organized by the Fondazione I Teatri di Reggio Emilia (2018).
