Christmas holidays, in a unique city like Rome, have always been imbued with a fairy-tale atmosphere, thanks to the windows' sparkling decorations and the illuminations spreading their play of light on some of the world's most famous streets and squares.
To make it even more impressive the most awaited holiday season of the year, Roma Capitale has published a Public Notice for 22 stands of the traditional market of Piazza Navona. A true institution that from 1 December culminates on 6 January, the day of the Epiphany. For generations, this typical market has been animating the beautiful baroque square, enticing Romans and tourists with delicacies and many gift ideas for all ages.
Five stands are for commercial activities (toys, books, and publishing products), seven for craftsmen (trees, decorations and nativity scenes, and toys), four for traditional regional food products, and six for gift items (leather goods, paintings, and prints, manufacture of wood, glass, and ceramics, embroidery and textiles).
The Public Notice is open until 11:59 pm on 14 October 2022.
