Immersed in the park of Villa Borghese and always regarded as the “Delight of Rome” (as it was its founder Cardinal Borghese), Galleria Borghese is the wonderful setting of masterpieces admired all over the world. However, the Gallery’s social channels also contribute to thrill and involve an ever-growing audience, with an online offer that is varied in itself, expanded in the summer with new initiatives.

Starting from August, the cycle “Un giorno da Venere” dedicated to the ancient goddess Venus, protagonist of stories and myths that have spanned the centuries, is accompanied by the translation into sign language by an interpreter. The videos will be published weekly on the social media of the Borghese Gallery until November. Next to the art works, the museum director Francesca Cappelletti takes us to the discovery of the most beautiful Venuses in the collection: from the painting “Venus and Cupid carrying a honeycomb”, considered the most successful creation by Lucas Cranach the Elder, to the sensual and spontaneous “Danae” by Correggio and then to the works by Titian and Luca Cambiaso.
