Anna Netrebko e Yusif Eyvazov - Homage to Rome

For the Summer season of Teatro dell'Opera in the ancient Circus Maximus, two thrilling evenings of bel canto await the audience with the highly anticipated return of the international stars Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov. The two artists will perform pieces by Giuseppe Verdi, Francesco Cilea, Giacomo Puccini, Michail Ivanovič Glinka, Antonín Dvořák, Pietro Mascagni, Umberto Giordano, with a program that highlights the potential and extent of their repertoire.

The stars, an extraordinary couple in art and life, return to sing together in Rome seven years after the "Manon Lescaut" - conducted by Maestro Riccardo Muti - that inevitably made them meet and fall in love. The concert will be conducted by Jader Bignamini, former Resident Conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi and new Music Director of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Giuseppe Verdi.
