A new debut on the Roman airport, the first European airport for customer satisfaction and already a preferential gateway to the Mediterranean countries: from 1st May, the Canadian company WestJet inaugurates a new direct Rome-Calgary connection, thus responding to the constant increase in demand between Canada and Italy. From the end of the month frequencies per week go from 1 to 3, with take-offs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Operated with the latest-generation Boeing B787 Dreamliner, the flights are scheduled to offer connections across the WestJet network and allow flights via Calgary to North America, including routes to and from Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Phoenix, and Las Vegas. Flights from Calgary have been carefully planned, with departures in the second part of the day, thus allowing a comfortable night flight and a full day available upon arrival in the Capital. A transatlantic journey without stops in the direction of a wonderful summer holiday through the history and the beauties of Rome.
