I Viaggi dell’Arte - XVIII edizione (Art Journeys – 18th edition)

This summer, I Viaggi dell’Arte, the traveling artistic journey to tell stories and experience theater, music, literature, painting, and Art in all its forms, as a driving force for change and the social and economic development of a country, is back.

Some of the main protagonists of this year's event - under the artistic direction of Gino Auriuso - are Saverio Tommasi and the Arezzo Multiethnic Orchestra, Nadia Baldi, Franca Abategiovanni, Francesco Verdinelli, Germano Rubbi, Nicasio Anzelmo, Domenico Pantano, Irma Ciaramella, Ivano Falco, Daniela Marozzi, Andrea Kaemmerle, Manfredi Rutelli.

Furthermore, from July 30th to August 9th, eleven days of art workshops will enliven the districts of the XI Municipality (Marconi, Magliana, Trullo, Corviale, and Muratella) from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Thanks to the professionalism and experience of the teachers, they will engage and entertain both adults and children. The districts become creative and recreational oases open to all, where you can cultivate, between fun and reflection, the pleasure of gathering together in the splendid Roman Summer with some of the protagonists of the Italian Entertainment scene.

A landmark event on summer afternoons and evenings within the 11th Municipality – Arvalia Portuense, I Viaggi dell’Arte is a traveling art trail launched in 2009 that has now hosted 18 editions in Rome and throughout the region. The project has traveled through approximately 50 municipalities, involving over 50,000 spectators and artists, many of whom are nationally renowned (Giorgio Albertazzi, Gaia De Laurentiis, Tullio Solenghi, Antonello Fassari, Michele Placido, Domenico Iannacone, Giancarlo Giannini).

The project, promoted by Rome Capital – Department of Culture, won the public tender Roma Creativa 365. Cultura tutto l'anno (Creative Rome 365. Culture all year round), in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura and sponsored by the Municipio Roma XI Arvalia-Portuense. Organized by the Artenova ETS Cultural Association.
