On the occasion of the World Autism Awareness Day, the association Modelli si Nasce Onlus presents a special event promoted by the Assessorato Grandi Eventi, Turismo, Sport e Moda di Roma Capitale.
Hosted at the PalaTiziano - Palazzetto dello Sport, the day is conceived as a meaningful moment of sharing and reflection, aimed at shining a spotlight on autism and promoting awareness initiatives capable of engaging an ever wider audience. On the runway, models will showcase creations by Alberto Zambelli, Bottega Bernard, Chronos Corps, Futuro Remoto, Giuglia, Leonardo Valentini, Yashu and Prem.
Modelli si Nasce was founded in Rome in 2018, through the initiative of parents of autistic young people who, despite facing the challenges of everyday life, chose to look to the future of their children with confidence and positivity.
With a bold and somewhat provocative spirit, these families decided to take their children beyond the “box of disability”, showing the world their authenticity, beauty and talent.
Starting with just five members, today the association counts over 100 participants. Modelli si Nasce is now the first and only association in Italy to offer tailored training pathways, preparing autistic young people to enter the fashion industry as models and photo models.
An event dedicated to celebrating talent, inclusion and new possibilities, proving that diversity is not a limitation, but a value that enriches society as a whole.
Hosted by Eleonora Daniele.
From 18 March at 10:00 to 31 March at 15:00, citizens can register to attend the fashion show via the Contact Centre 060608.
