
Rome celebrates its connection with Nordic cultures with the fourth edition of Nordic November. Nordic Traces in Rome, scheduled from November 3 to December 6, 2025.
The event - sponsored by the Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, the Scandinavian Circle, and the four Nordic Cultural and Scientific Institutes of the Academy of Denmark, the Finnish Institute in Rome, the Norwegian Institute in Rome, and the Swedish Institute for Classical Studies in Rome - offers a rich and wide-ranging program of initiatives aimed at highlighting the Nordic countries' historical ties to the city of Rome, through exhibitions, walks, meetings, concerts, cooking classes, children's workshops, and conferences.
There are more than 30 events throughout the city, many free entrance, spanning architecture, visual art, poetry, music, research, and cinema. Among the scheduled events are the Nordic Table Design 1900 -1970 exhibition at the Hendrik Andersen Museum House, the Nice Colours concert – The colours of the female clarinet at the Finnish Institute, and the Joulutori Nordic Christmas Market at The Social Hub Florence.
The aim is to help promote the cultures of Northern Europe, strengthening the connection with Rome.
