From Monday 30 June to Wednesday 2 July the appointment with the great swimming of the SIS Roma Swimming Trophy returns. The sporting event, now in its twelfth edition, takes place in the suggestive setting of the Swimming Stadium at the Foro Italico, in the 50-meter outdoor pool with 10 lanes.
The races are timed with an automatic electronic system by the Italian Timekeepers Federation and are divided into six parts of the race over three days. The race program is composed of pre-organized batteries with a closed number of participants: the 400 freestyle, 400 medley, 800 women's freestyle and 1500 men's freestyle races are in series based on the registration time. For all other race distances - 50, 100 and 200 - the batteries are divided into the morning with the last three seeded overall and in the afternoon the finals by category. The Australian, Freestyle and Mixed races are scheduled.
