On 26 September, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma presents an evocative concert conducted by the young and talented Diego Ceretta, Principal Conductor of the Orchestra della Toscana since 2023.
One of the most brilliant conductors on the international scene, Diego Ceretta makes his debut on the stage of the prestigious Roman theatre with two splendid compositions: Johannes Brahms' Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77, composed in 1878 and one of the German composer's masterpieces, and Antonín Dvořák's intense Symphony No. 7 in D minor, Op. 70, completed in 1885.
This unmissable appointment, which closes the 2024-2025 concert season, features the elegant and expressive conductor accompanied by the Orchestra del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and the renowned violinist Marc Bouchkov.
Born in 1996, Diego Ceretta already boasts an extraordinary career on the podium of some of the most important Italian and international orchestras, including the Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Torino, the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, the Orchestra dell'Arena di Verona, the Sinfonica Rossini di Pesaro, the Filarmonica Toscanini, the Orchestre Philarmonique de Monte-Carlo and the Krakow Philharmonic.
