Elio Germano and Teho Teardo present the show entitled Paradise XXXIII at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, directed by Simone Ferrari & Lulu Helbaek. It’s a theatrical experiment, in which Elio Germano and Teho Teardo try to explain the Canto XXXIII of Dante Alighieri's Paradise through voice and music, to describe beauty and approach the unfathomable mystery of the divine, showing what can never be described logically. Like Dante, the two protagonists of the show find themselves in the difficulty of the human being who experiences the immense and the eternal, the "utmost wonder".
During the evening, the 33rd canto is performed word by word, accompanied by live music with instruments from all eras and sound games. The show, transcending any concept of theatre, concert or traditional Dantesque representation, manages to create a unique experience for the spectators through a contamination of technological and theatrical languages.
