Premio Biagio Agnes

For the first time, the splendid Piazza del Campidoglio hosts the Ceremony of the International Journalism and Information Award, dedicated to the historical Director-General of Rai.

Promoted by the Biagio Agnes Foundation, in collaboration with Rai and partnership with Confindustria, the Biagio Agnes Award combines the prestige of the best-known representatives of the press and communication world with an event dedicated to the journalistic profession in all its aspects.

The event, broadcast on Raiuno on 27 June in the late evening, is presented by two TV celebrities - Mara Venier and Alberto Matano - and focuses on information, news, entertainment and inclusion.

The prizes, assigned by the jury chaired by Gianni Letta, range from the numerous fields of journalism to cinema, from radio to fiction, and from television to under 40. Among the winners of the 14th edition are Amadeus - Prize for Television for the 72nd edition of the Sanremo Music Festival - the Cucciari - Lauro duo - Radio Award with Un giorno da pecora - Sir David Robert Gilmour, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Mstyslav Čhernov, Evgeniy Maloletka, Vasilisa Stepanenko of Associated Press, International Award.

During the event, on the schedule are a series of cultural initiatives on interesting topics and current news with the participation of representatives of the institutions, entrepreneurs, journalists and the involvement of the main national media.
