The Romaeuropa Festival dedicates a special concert to the music of Bryce Dessner, one of the most sought after artists of his generation, winner of a Grammy Award for best classical composer and founder of The National, a life force in the realm of new music.
Bryce Dessner will share the stage with the Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble directed by Tonino Battista, the Roman guitarist and composer Luca Nostro and the two famous pianists Katia and Marielle Labèque, known throughout the world for their interpretations and guests of the most prestigious orchestras.
The live concert will focus on the most famous classical compositions by Bryce Dessner: from St. Carolyn by The Sea to Lachrimae, from Wires to Ahyem passing through the world premiere of the new version of Concerto for two Piano, a composition created for the Labèque sisters and presented for the first time at the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
