Canova. Eterna Bellezza
depuis 23 Janvier 2020 à 15 Mars 2020

Over 90,000 people have visited Canova. Eterna Bellezza so far. The exhibition at the Museo di Roma - Palazzo Braschi is a huge success.

To satisfy all visitors, Canova. Eterna Bellezza continues with the extraordinary evening openings, every Saturday and Sunday until 10 pm - ticket office closes at 9 pm -, to March 15.

The next openings - added to the ordinary opening, every day from 10 am to 7 pm, last entry at 6 pm - are scheduled for Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 February, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 February, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 February, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, Saturday 29 February and Sunday 1 March, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March.

The exhibition displays over 170 works from Canova's major public and private collections, including works by his contemporary. A setting of great visual impact collected in 13 sections: the works tell Canova's art and the context in which he operated while in Rome.

Thanks to the use of sophisticated lighting solutions, along the exhibition path, you can enjoy the warm atmosphere by torchlight with which at night in his atelier in Via delle Colonnette the artist showed his works to guests, at the end of the 18th century.
