200 exhibitors in 6,000 square meters of space located in three hangars, including crafts, vintage, art, street food and numerous events involving around 5,000 visitors every weekend.
South Market is an urban space located within the San Paolo district which hosts temporary events: this is the result of an urban operation concerning the recovery of the third abandoned Atac deposit, after those of via Bainsizza and piazza Ragusa, transformed into spaces for cultural activities.
Made in an elegant art noveau and baroque style in 1928 in a very different neighborhood from nowadays, houses the first electrified trams reaching the Basilica of San Paolo in those years. Closed in 2004 and, the following year subjected to a constraint of historical and artistic interest by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, today returns finally to Roman citizens.
