The Pelanda is inside the Mattatoio complex, in the area once dedicated to the swarming of the pigs. The project is the result of a careful restoration of an area of about 5000 square meters, a fine example of industrial architecture of the late Nineteenth Century.
The main body consists of a large nave, a truncated conical chimney and other metal equipment that make it a place of rare charm. The entire complex has been designed as an open system, modular in its structures and entirely accessible to the public, with large glazed surfaces that enhance volumes and perspectives.
Open only during exhibitions.
