The feast for the harvest of the Vigneto Italia returns to the Botanical Garden of Rome: three days dedicated to the world of wine, vineyard, oenologists and winemakers.
On the program are themed workshops, special guided tours, and Roman folk songs, together with artisans and producers, among the best in Italy for their extraordinary vinifications in purity, presenting their most excellent wines for tasting.
Vendemmiata Romana celebrates an extraordinary harvest in the heart of the capital, in which the native Italian vines - selected by Luca Maroni and planted in the Vigneto Italia in February 2018 - will produce bunches. The Vigneto Italia is a genuine Ampelographic Museum, realised by the famous sensory analyst, with the Botanical Garden Museum - Sapienza University of Rome, in partnership with Vivai Cooperativi Rauscedo. The vines are located in a dedicated area of the Botanical Garden, hosting over 150 varieties from all regions of Italy, grown in a biodynamic way.
Due to the small number of grapes involved, the harvest is symbolic, but the event is undoubtedly a moment of joy and celebration of nature to be shared with the family in the heart of the Eternal City, in the enchanting garden on the slopes of the Janiculum.
