Histrionic, poetic, iconic: the great artist returns to perform live in his beloved city with 6 concerts-shows in the majestic setting of the Circus Maximus.
Born in 1950, Renato Zero celebrates his seventies two years late and retraces an extraordinary career that has lasted for over fifty years and which, since the seventies, has fascinated entire generations with timeless songs such as La favola mia, Triangolo, Il cielo, Cercami, Nei giardini che nessuno sa, I migliori anni della nostra vita.
The "King of the Sorcini", as his fans have been affectionately defined since the Eighties, accompanies the audience on an emotional journey through his musical history. On the stage are an orchestra of strings, winds and percussion and a band, with different playlists every evening.
The interpreter has recently presented Atto di fede, his latest project, including a book and double CD of 19 sacred music songs composed by the singer and a completely new version of the Ave Maria. The work, whit the participation of the Budapest Art Orchestra and the International Choir of the Franciacorta Philharmonic Orchestra, presents the thoughts and reflections of great names in communications, including Alessandro Baricco, Pietrangelo Buttafuco, Sergio Castellitto, Aldo Cazzullo, Lella Costa, Domenico De Masi, Don Antonio Mazzi, Giovanni Soldini, Mario Tronti, and the narrating voices of Oscar Farinetti, Pino Insegno, Giuliana Lojodice, Marco Travaglio, Luca Ward and Renato Zero himself.
Consecrated in 1977 by the song Mi vendo, the artist wrote one of the most important pages of Italian music thanks to his versatility, sensitivity and original way of telling his story and world's emotions, colours, joy and pain.
