A night race not to suffer the heat but also and above all to leave behind a long dark period and look optimistically toward the future. At Villa de Sanctis, an archaeological site of relevant historical importance that in ancient times was part of the possessions of Helena, the mother of Constantine, the ultramarathon organized by Asd Villa De Sanctis in collaboration with the White Shoes Runners Club returns for the third edition.

The race is included in the IUTA calendar and is valid as a round of the IUTA Grand Prix 2022. The race route includes a 1-kilometer FIDAL-certified circuit inside the Villa, on a dirt background. The appointment is Saturday at midnight to run until dawn under the lights of St. Helena’s mausoleum. Under the auspices of the ACS, the sporting event will also host this year the edition 0 of the “City of Rome 6-hour Team Trophy”, a team race with minimum two and maximum three members.
