Flounces, pleats and lace inlays, precious or vintage fabrics, hats with feathers and veils, fashionable and mesmerizing dresses or creative outfits with a touch of madness. The passion, creativity and unique techniques expressed by the most prestigious costume ateliers in Rome, showcased in the Romaison exhibition, joyfully invade the city, leaving the Ara Pacis Museum.
Until 13 December, some of the most beautiful clothes and accessories presented in the exhibition will become the protagonists of an artistic open-air experience, made spectacular and engaging by lights, colors and moving images: a way to enhance their uniqueness and allow an even wider audience discover its magic. The task of giving “new” life to the historical and contemporary creations of Roman theatrical and cinematographic design studios is entrusted to architectural video projections that can be seen on the façades of some buildings in the city, not only in the historic center, from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Video projections can be admired until 3 December at the Palazzo dei Congressi in the EUR district, the ACEA headquarters in piazzale Ostiense, the Visitors center in via dei Fori Imperiali and the building of the Municipio VI in the Tor Bella Monaca district, and until 11 December at the Ara Pacis Museum. From 4 to 13 December, the projections will be hosted on the façades of Termini and Tiburtina Stations, and from 4 to 11 December on the outer walls of the Foro Italico and metro station Annibaliano.
