The Tempietto Concerts - Music Festival of the Nations present the Roman Nights at Marcellus’ Theater (Chiostro di Campitelli), the usual appointment with a series of musical events of the Roman Summer, Italian and international artists every evening.
Among the most important performers we remember the pianist Francesca Maria Villani with music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Johannes Brahms and Maurice Ravel; the pianist Marija Nikolovska and the cellist Antonio Ilioski with music by Bernhard Romberg and Edward Elgar; the pianist Krste Badarovski with music by Domenico Scarlatti and Frédéric Chopin; the pianist Davide Masacci with music by Ferruccio Busoni, Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert and Franz Liszt.
This year the program is also enriched both in quality and quantity: it starts already at 6:30 pm with readings and small musical performances; at 7.45 pm, before the concert, it is possible to join a guided tour in Italian or English in the archaeological area of the Marcellus’ Theater and to listen to the evening concert at 8.30 pm, included in the ticket price.
