The engaging "spring" of the International Festival of Electronic Music and Contemporary Culture is back in its 11th edition with the title Restart the Future.
On the schedule are two days of music, global rhythms, digital art, live performances and new generational trends with the Italian and international electronic scene's most popular and interesting artists performing in the iconic Cinecittà Studios.
The first appointment is on 10 September at the Auditorium Parco della Musica with the highly anticipated preview, with Romaeuropa Festival, for the concert of the award-winning artist, composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds, back to Rome to present his latest album Some Kind of Peace.
The event will come alive on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 September at the historical cinema theatres with concerts and shows of electronic music, futurist pop, dancefloor stars, and new songwriters. The lineup is truly irresistible and features over twenty artists on the two Stages Dome and Antica Roma, including American DJ The Blessed Madonna, singer-songwriter Ditonellapiaga, techno queen Ellen Allien, the "visionary" Cosmo, Sama 'Abdulhadi and the energy of her sound, the multi-instrumentalist Marco Castello, the king of clubbing Todd Terje and the London collective Kokoroko.
