The seventeenth edition of the Rome Science Festival at the Auditorium Parco della Musica is dedicated to explorations, with a multidisciplinary and transversal approach.
In fact, phenomena such as the pandemic, climate change and the environmental crisis have never before shown how important it is to investigate through different forms of exploration, so that the meeting between scholars of many scientific disciplines can offer valid solutions to environmental problems. Exploration also means having an innovative approach to realize a different vision of the future.
The programme, which is divided into five thematic areas – Spaces, Society, Life, Minds and Futures – foresees the presence of internationally renowned scientists, journalists and intellectuals who find themselves tackling the many forms of research in this field, with the possibility by the public to learn more about the disciplines and arts involved. The Festival includes over 400 events including meetings, exhibitions, exhibits with meetings and workshops created for schools, families and with a section of initiatives aimed at teachers. Furthermore, this year too the contribution of the Festival dedicated to research and training is not lacking: designed for the little ones, the varied educational program combines remote and face-to-face events, involving the classes of primary and secondary schools of first and second grade, with always new and stimulating activities.
The Festival, which over the years has become one of the most important events in scientific culture, therefore encourages scientific dissemination as a form of cultural education.
