One of the most prestigious races of the entire Capitoline running scene, Rome Appia Run, is back with the competitive road race event of 13 km and the non-competitive one of 4 and 13 km.
Now in its 22nd edition, the Roma Appia Run is the only race in the world to be held on five different pavements: asphalt, cobblestones, lava paving, soil, and the track of the Nando Martellini Stadium at the Terme di Caracalla.
The meeting is at 8.00 am at the Stadio delle Terme di Caracalla, the start of the 4 km non-competitive tests is at 9.00 am, and the competitive and non-competitive 13 km races will be at 9.30.
Also, in this edition of the Roma Appia Run, you can count on the fascinating prologue of the Fulmine dell’Appia - In Memoria di Pietro Mennea.
Saturday 2 October, from 3.00 pm, the Terme di Caracalla Stadium is ready to welcome children and young people (max 16 years) who, thanks to the support of Emergenza Sorrisi, run to make other children smile.
Competing athletes must wear a mask at the start and at least for the first 500 meters of the race.
The registration remains valid for the 2021 edition for those who signed up for the 2020 edition, not disputed for emergency Covid-19.
The entry fee is of € 20 for the Competitive race and the 13 km non-competitive race, and € 15 for the 4 km non-competitive race.
