Considered the icon of classical ballet, Swan Lake is the most performed ballet in the world.
A story of love, betrayal and the triumph of good over evil, set to one of the most beautiful musical scores ever written. The choreography requires great technique and skill from the dancers. The portrayal of the characters, particularly in the contrast between the purity of the White Swan and the darkness of the Black Swan, has become one of the most famous grand pas de deux in ballet history.
Produced by Fabrizio di Fiore Entertainment for the Roma City Ballet Company, this version of Swan Lake is choreographed by Luciano Cannito and based on Petipa's original.
At the Teatro Olimpico, for the first time in the history of classical ballet, Artificial Intelligence is used to recreate the imaginative world of Prince Siegfried and his beloved Odette, reproducing the most famous castle, forest and lake in classical dance.
Artists from the Staatsballett Berlin are participating in the performance.
The costumes are designed by Silvia Califano, the virtual set design is created by Maurizio Gaibisso, the lighting is designed by Valerio Tiberi, and Italo Grassi is the technological set consultant.
