On top of the preferences of foreign tourists visiting Italy, Rome in 2017 has cut an important milestone: arrivals and overnight stays are growing; important figures, which also give evidence to a rise in foreign tourism demand.

The main countries from which tourists arrive in Rome are the United States, Japan, Spain and Germany (EBTL data – Region Lazio Tourism Bilateral Unit).
