More information, reception and services for passengers arriving at International Flights – Terminal 3.

From now on, passengers arriving at Leonardo da Vinci Airport will take advantage of a new “Tourist Information Point – P.I.T.”, which the City of Rome has opened at the International Arrivals – Terminal 3. The P.I.T. is open every day from 8am to 8pm. The staff of the information desk is specifically trained to welcome  tourists from all over the world, providing them with all they need to know about the city, how to get to and from the airport, accommodation options available, tourist and gastronomic itineraries  as well as info about cultural events and cultural entertainment in Rome.

Incoming visitors will also be able to purchase at P.I.T. the Rome PASS, the city’s tourist card, or collect it if they have pre-purchased it online, as well as to the full range of public transport tickets managed by ATAC, the city’s official maps, access tickets to cultural shows as the Viaggi nell’Antica Roma and other tourist services, such as tickets for major Open Bus services.

The information desk, which has underwent a complete restyling and is ideally positioned in the arrival area, is a further service to enhance long-haul tourism, providing a more efficient service for the tourist industry in Rome and Lazio.

In the first 6 months of 2017 over 13.5 million international passengers have transited at Rome – Fiumicino Airport, with high growth rates from North America (+ 4.7%), Central and South America (+ 20.0% ) and the Far East (+ 14.4%).

Roma Capitale welcomes more than 14 million tourists every year. The P.I.T.s provide assistance and information to over 3.3 million visitors a year, offering theirservice in 6 languages.

Other eight P.I.T.s are available in the city, strategically located in the most concentrated tourist areas. Tourists also have a dedicated infoline +39060608, answering every day from 9 am to 7 pm in 6 languages, providing information and assistance to both tourist attractions and cultural events and selling tickets.
