Chiesa di San Lorenzo da Brindisi

The church was built in 1912 by the architect Giovan Battista Milani for the Cappuccini Friars, who had erected their General House and an International College attached next to the church. In 1968, the Capuchin friars decided to leave the building complex, and it was sold to an estate company, and they transferred to the Corpus Christi Church. The church, although still retains its original appearance outside, has been converted into a conference hall inside.

The Romanesque front is divided into three orders, with a portal flanked by pilasters and arches. The portal lunette is decorated with a Chini bas-relief representing Jesus between St Francis and St Dominic, and the stucco lunette in the triple lancet window above represents the Eucharist bordered by faced peacocks.

The interior of the church is divided into three aisles covered by a cross arch. The central aisle is completed by a large open space with two choirs. Originally, the side was closed by a wooden iconostasis by Fedro Guerrieri composed of an architectural frame supported by spiral columns. On the wooden choir altar was the Saint Lawrence with Madonna
