The Garden of Ninfa reopens to the public: entrances available on 2020

Giardino di Ninfa
from 12 February 2020 to 2 November 2020

The Garden of Ninfa, the magnificent park elected "the most beautiful and romantic garden in the world" by the New York Times, reopens to the public.

Guided visits to the oasis created by the Caetani family on the ruins of the medieval city of the same name will be available from March to November.

Only a few days of the year, in order to preserve the delicate environmental balance. The Garden of Ninfa, a splendid example of poetry and medieval architecture, stands at the foot of the Lepini mountains in the province of Latina. Here, you can immerse yourself in an uncontaminated reality where many writers, Virgina Woolf, Truman Capote, Ungaretti, Moravia, found inspiration for their creations, a true literary salon.

Inside the 8-hectare garden you can admire over 1300 species of plants including 19 varieties of magnolia, birch trees, aquatic irises and Japanese maples. In spring, ornamental cherry trees bloom creating a fairytale atmosphere.
