All this and much more awaits you for three days completely dedicated to the Made in Italy food and wine and its protagonists, at the Rome Convention Center La Nuvola, a futuristic masterpiece signed by the archistar Massimiliano Fuksas.
One hundred chefs - many of whom starred - are ready to engage in spectacular cooking performances in three different areas set up or the occasion: Next Cooking Lazio, the 4-hand cooking show with chefs and products from Lazio; Food Innovation, the cooking show with starred chefs moderated by an "unconventional" character; Excellence Academy, the cooking show with chef professors from Coquis and other cooking schools in Rome.
One hundred companies have also chosen this prestigious stage to present their products and their experience. High quality artisans and industrial of taste, Italian wine cellars protagonists in the We Love Tasting area, and producers of extra virgin olive oil to whom the Evo School area of Coldiretti is dedicated.
Excellence 2019, organized by the editorial brothers Pietro and Claudio Ciccotti for the seventh consecutive year, proposes a very rich calendar of activities within three theatres and the Excellence Cloud area. From the Apci National Congress (Professional Association of Italian Chefs) to the Falsi d´Autore by Luigi Cremona with starred chefs who reproduce traditional dishes; from the presentation of the guide Roma nel Piatto (Pecora Nera edizioni) and the preview of the guide Roma Doc di Repubblica; from the talk show for the 100 years of the La Scolca winery to the presentation of the M'Ama.Seeds project Recovery of ancient crops for the health of Man and the Planet.
The contest Race to The Stars Excellence is back again this year, the competition in memory of chef Alessandro Narducci, is reserved for young chefs under 30 born or living in Lazio.
