An urban space of exceptional historical and monumental value: the linear park of the Aurelian Walls, built in the 3rd century by the emperor Aurelian and representing the longest, oldest and best preserved city wall in history, lights up thanks to the new artistic lighting system designed by the Municipality of Rome and Acea, a further step forward in the process of enhancing the city’s cultural heritage.

The lighting project was carried out with innovative and sustainable criteria: the old system was replaced with state-of-the-art LED lights, with high color rendering and high energy efficiency, enabling a reduction of about 50% of the absorbed power. 78 new projectors illuminate the walls of the city walls, while about 50 step markers highlight the pedestrian paths within the park. The plant is also equipped with a remote control system that makes it possible to manage the system more quickly and efficiently.
